MT9519:Magnetic Current/Linear Hall Chip - Programmable Current Sense Chip

The MT9519 product family is a sensor IC that converts a vertical magnetic field into parallel magnetic field technology (HMD) using a built-in magnetic collector. Conventional parallel Hall techniques are only sensitive to the magnetic flux density applied perpendicular to the IC surface. Sensor ICs utilizing HMD technology are only sensitive to the magnetic flux density applied parallel to the IC surface. This is achieved by placing two collector pieces on the chip. The chip is a highly integrated Hall sensor IC that provides an output signal proportional to the horizontally applied magnetic flux density, making it suitable for current measurements. Due to its small size and the use of a SOP-8 chip package, it is ideal as an open-loop current sensor for PCB or busbar mounting. It is suitable for a wide range of currents from tens of amps to 1000 amps. The MT9519 is user-programmable in the current direction, magnetic field sensitivity gain, zero magnetic field signal output, and temperature compensation. Ideal for applications with on-board inverters. The MT9519 series is supplied with a SOP-8 package that is RoHS compliant.
