The MT9222 is an integrated current sensing IC with built-in magnetic circuit, developed specifically for current sensing applications, in a wide-body SOP-16W package that provides a clearance of 7.5mm, a creepage distance of 8.2mm, and a dielectric strength of 4800Vrms. The integrated temperature compensation circuitry ensures excellent temperature characteristics over the entire operating temperature range, and the chip is factory calibrated for sensitivity as well as quiescent (zero-current) output voltage, providing a typical accuracy of less than ±1.5% over the full temperature range.
