MT9511:Magnetic Current/Linear Hall Chip - Programmable Current Sense Chip

MagnTek's MT9511 series is a single-chip integrated programmable Hall-effect linear sensor chip. It can be used for accurate current or position sensing in a wide range of applications.

Each MT9511 consists of a high-sensitivity Hall element, a low-noise small-signal high-gain amplifier, clamping and overcurrent protection output stages, and high-bandwidth dynamic compensation technology.

The MT9511 outputs an analog voltage signal proportional to the applied magnetic flux density. Customers can configure the sensitivity and static (zero-field) output voltage by programming on the output pins to optimize the performance of the end application. The chip integrates a high-precision interest-bearing reference power supply, and its quiescent output voltage and sensitivity do not change with the change of power supply, and the sensitivity can be programmed to adjust in the range of 0.6~22.4mV/Gs. The chip also has a reference output, allowing users to easily interact with the ADC using differential outputs.
